VAT Appeal Update
On 20th January, senior pupils from The King’s School joined Mrs Santer in London outside the Royal Courts of Justice as they peacefully joined with other faith schools and Christian Concern. Holding banners of support, our school representatives were attending for the Court of Appeal hearing a landmark challenge to the UK Government’s contraversial decion to impose 20% VAT on independent school fees.
We joined in prayer as a school community, not just for our school but for all faith schools in our country. The hearing ended on 21st January and we hope to hear the judges' ruling in a few weeks. Please be encouraged to continue to pray for justice on this issue.
