The Christian Legal Centre will be in the Supreme Court on the 1st and 2nd December, backing a group of independent Christian schools (including The King’s School), parents and pupils to challenge the Government’s policy of imposing VAT on independent school fees. To support this litigation, Christian Concern has launched a crowdfunder and would be very grateful if we could share it with others. You can find the crowdfunder here.

Mrs Santer will be attending the first day of the hearing and any pupils with accompanying parents who wish to attend the demonstration, from 8.30am outside the Supreme Court, are welcome to do so. At this stage we do not know how big the courtroom will be or how likely it is that we would all be able to attend the hearing, but we will update you in due course.

The King’s School offers independent (private) Christian education for children aged 4-16 in Fair Oak, Hampshire. Our school grounds, easily accessible to Southampton, Romsey, Winchester and the surrounding area, are nestled in a quiet location with a woodland backdrop.
