The King’s School is seeking an Art Teacher to join our team within our senior classes (KS3 and KS4 including GCSE) on a part-time (0.5FTE) contract. We are a small school with 238 pupils across primary and senior classes, committed to delivering a quality Christian education.
As Art Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging art lessons, developing innovative teaching materials, and supporting pupils' academic progress. As the only Art teacher, you will work closely with Senior Leadership Team to implement the GCSE curriculum effectively. If you are passionate about Art and education, we would love to hear from you! Informal visits to meet our Headteacher and tour the school are encouraged and very welcome.

The King's School are always looking for volunteers to support us with Exams Invigilation throughout the school academic year. Our current requirement will be for the summer exam period (8th May - 18th June 2025).
Volunteers would be required to:
- Supervise pupils during examinations, ensuring a calm environment
- Distribute and collect examination papers and materials
- Ensure that pupils adhere to the examination rules and regulations
- Provide assistance to pupils with additional needs, as required
- Report any irregularities or issues to the Exams Officer
- Assist with the preparation of the exam room before and after exams
No previous experience is necessary as full training will be given. Previous experience working with children would be an advantage.

Are you looking for a term time only role to suit school hours? Join the team in our busy school office. As the first point of contact for The King’s School, you would be responsible for providing a welcoming and professional front of house/main reception service for our Christian school, ensuring pupils, parents and other stakeholders receive excellent customer service. Main duties will include daily attendance registers, answering telephones, responding to emails and efficient day-to-day organisation and administration of the school office and its procedures. This role includes basic first aid provision for pupils. A full job description and person specification is available below.
We are looking for someone who is available to work Monday, Tuesday and Friday. The working hours are 9.00am - 3.00pm, however some flexibility can be discussed at interview to suit school hours if needed.
