Earlier this year, our Headteacher, Caroline Santer, was invited to participate in the Spheres of Influence panel at the Gateway Conference 2025, themed "I Am Alive".
This event was held at City Life Church, Portsmouth. The event brought together influential figures to discuss the integration of faith and leadership within various community roles.
Mrs Santer appeared alongside Roise Fry who leads the Portsmouth Lord Mayors Breakfast and Steve Macfarlane who helps coordinate the Portsmouth One Body church leaders unity group, as well as working with Street Pastors & Hope Into Action. They were interviewed by Sean Blackman who serves on the Gateway People Apostolic Team, he's also a pastor in Gosport and involved in politics.
During the panel, Mrs. Santer was invited to reflect on the positive impact of faith at The King’s School and address the challenges that Christian education faces today. She shared her personal testimony, offering encouragement to others working within similar spheres of influence.
This occasion was a remarkable opportunity for The King’s School to highlight our unique approach, where we place Jesus at the heart of everything we do. We are grateful to the event organizers for including us in such a meaningful dialogue and allowing us to showcase the special community we nurture at our school.
We look forward to continuing to share our journey and the positive influence of our school community in future events. Thank you to everyone who supports our mission and values.
