Odd Socks Day: Celebrating What Makes Us Unique!
On Monday our school was bursting with colour, creativity, and a whole lot of mismatched socks! Pupils and staff proudly wore their brightest, stripiest, spotty-est, and most unusual socks to celebrate Odd Socks Day – a fun way to kick off Anti-Bullying Week and remind everyone that it’s okay to be different.

The idea behind Odd Socks Day is simple: every pair of socks is unique, just like every person. By wearing odd socks, we’re celebrating individuality and showing that we value everyone for who they are. It’s a light-hearted way to share a powerful message – be kind, be accepting, and stand up against bullying.

Our corridors were filled with laughter as pupils compared their socks, swapped compliments, and even showed off some impressive designs! From dinosaurs to disco sparkles, football stripes to fluffy rainbows, no two socks were the same – and that’s exactly the point.
Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make the day so special. Together, we’re creating a school where everyone feels safe, respected, and free to be themselves – odd socks and all!
