We are inviting you to join our new ‘Buy A Brick’ fundraising appeal. For just £1 your support will help us on our journey to build new primary classrooms.
If you can spare £1 to support our school, please click here to buy your virtual brick.
As part of the donation, the names of all those who purchased the virtual bricks will be buried into the foundations of the building once work commences.
Pupils in years R to 6 are currently taught in temporary portacabins, which have now reached the end of their life and are no longer fit for purpose. Planning permission has been granted for a new classroom block, and a local family-run building company has been selected for the development. The new classroom block will not only provide improved learning facilities for current and future pupils, but also improved privacy for neighbouring housing, and better on site parking, relieving pressure on local roads for both the school and for Fair Oak Family Church who meet weekly at the school.
If you are a local business or organisation and feel you could donate more to support our cause we would love to hear from you.
The King’s School has been raising money for the last 12 months through its Immeasurably More fundraising campaign, and has already raised £100,000 towards their target of £2.5M. It is hoped that this new initiative will bring us one step closer to achieving the goal, one brick at a time.
