Today senior pupils celebrated the European Day of Languages. Staff dressed up to represent their varying nationalities or connections. Mrs Bell and Mrs Pancott led an assembly, reminding us of the importance of language so we can “go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation”, Mark 16:15. We found out our assembly was represented by an amazing selection of spoken languages, including; Polish, Swahili, Finnish, Cantonese, Greek, Armenian, Russian, Ukrainian, Malayalam, Slovakian, English and Mandarin Chinese! Year 8 helped us to recite John 3:16 and we sang a familiar worship song in Spanish
