Y3 & 4 Assembly: Ready for Action
Our Year 3 and 4 pupils delivered an inspiring assembly, sharing their learning around this term's heart concept: Ready for Action. The assembly opened with the powerful verse from Ephesians 6:10: "Finally, be strong in the Lord and His mighty power. Put on the full armour of God so that you can take your stand." This scripture has been at the heart of the children's learning this term, helping them explore themes of courage, strength and faith.
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and His mighty power. Put on the full armour of God so that you can take your stand.” Ephesians 6:10
Pupils shared photographs of their Super hero day activities which included: a time of worship to take time to reflect on their favourite Bible verse which they wanted to include on their superhero cape, time to create their capes, design their masks and reflect on Superheroes of the Bible. They also spent time deciding what type of superhero they would like to be!

The children presented their English learning about a lighthouse keeper and shared the diary entries they had written. They then reflected on the way in which God’s word is like a lighthouse and sang a joyful rendition of ‘My Lighthouse’, which the children performed with enthusiasm and confidence.
Well done Year 3 and 4. What a great assembly.
