Platinum Jubilee Celebration

We may not have had glorious sunshine for our celebration, but in true British style we braved the elements and our students had a wonderful afternoon doing activities from the 1950s up to modern day. Senior staff dressed according to the decade of the activity they were leading, involving everything from hoops, to maypoles, pogo sticks, space hoppers and traditional games – all the way to the final activity station: the ‘high tea’ table where students enjoyed the amazing goodies you had all sent in. Thank you so much for your generosity – we were absolutely overwhelmed by the amount of cake you provided and are still ploughing through it! Thank you to the senior students’ parents for serving refreshments. The highlight for us as staff was watching our Year 11s, House Captains and many other senior students support the younger ones to access all of the activities – we were so proud of them.
